Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Beta Accused of Favoring Campers

Though Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 fans have been positive about the center gunplay and visuals, the community is still extremely worked up about certain choices. In particular, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 fans are irate about certain mechanics that favor campers.

Setting up camp in Call of Duty has forever been a hot button issue, as nothing is more frustrating than being killed by somebody that has been sitting in one spot for the entirety of the match. Unfortunately, just like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019, the Modern Warfare 2 beta does little to put setting up camp down. While anti-camper tools like Drill Charges are terrific additions, they are not sufficiently, as the game is adjusted in a way that urges players to hold down one region and move as little as could really be expected.

All throughout the Modern Warfare 2 subreddit and other virtual entertainment platforms are posts about setting up camp players, with one particularly entertaining video ordering every one of the issues rushers have with the game. Posted by xShadowZ, the video spoofs Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's intel drops series and highlights four particular problems rushers are managing. For anybody that has kept up with the conversation around the beta, these complaints shouldn't generally be stunning.

Boisterous footsteps have been brought up endlessly time once more, as the issue is made more serious because of the absence of a Dead Quiet advantage. While Dead Quiet is a Field Redesign, having the option to camouflage footsteps a couple of times for each match instead of the entire game is problematic for some. Another significant issue is the little guide, as Infinity Ward has abandoned the exemplary small guide just as it did in Modern Warfare 2019. In that capacity, foe dots don't show up on the smaller than expected map like players are utilized to. Lastly, an absence of nameplates make it difficult to spot foes.

Yet again while Infinity Ward has been attempting to adjust footstep sound following fan complaints, and is dealing with ways of improving visibility, the developer is sticking to its weapons with regards to the small scale guide and Dead Quietness. As a result, setting up camp is probably not going to turn out to be more uncommon, nor are the accusations that Infinity Ward is deliberately helping terrible players. With such countless things neutralizing rushers, easygoing gamers that plant their feet in a single spot are thriving.

With the above cut from Reddit client freddiewop highlighting the issue obviously, it will be interesting to check whether Infinity Ward continues to stand up against the calls for change. Though it takes a lot to unite the Call of Duty community, essentially all players appear to concur that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta rebuffs rushers to an extreme degree too much.
